VOLUNTEER PARTNERS
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Maine Yoga Fest. Volunteering is a fun and rewarding way to both experience and become a part of the Maine Yoga Fest family. Volunteers are the heart and soul of the festival and we could not create such an amazing event without the help of those who are willing to be of service. We are seeking dedicated, reliable, enthusiastic volunteers who will help us to create an unforgettable, amazing experience for our presenters and attendees.
RECEIVE
The opportunity to be the face of the Maine Yoga Fest.
Be surrounded by like-minded yogis and yoginis, and directly contribute to the success, mood, and meaning of the festival. You will meet and mingle with people who share your passion for yoga, music, health, and wellness, creating new friends and connections.
Receive a discounted 3-day pass valued at $200 for only $50.

REQUIREMENTS
Available for all 3 days of the festival. Those who are available prior to and post-festival will be prioritized.
Work festival production tasks. This will be spread out over 3 days so you can participate in a maximum amount of festival fun keeping in mind that the majority of the shifts are during the festival.
Attend an additional MANDATORY orientation meeting (not included in the 15 hours) for the team on Thursday from 5-6 pm at the Volunteer & Registration Area located in the festival hub.
$50 non-refundable deposit. This fee reserves your space on the team as well as provides tank and administration fees.
Maine Yoga Fest volunteers are responsible for their own housing, meals, and transportation.
VOLUNTEER VETERANS
If you are interested in taking on more responsibility this year, the opportunities are endless. Please let us know where your talents might fit in best and your previous roles/experience.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Volunteer applications will be emailed to all who fill out the form below and to the past year’s volunteers (2023).
Applications will be available in the Spring and selections will be made in May.
The team is created through a rolling admissions process, meaning people will be constantly added to the team until all positions have been filled. Individuals will be chosen based on prior experience, availability, skill, and enthusiasm.
Complete the entire application form below answering the questions as honestly as possible, we do not want you to answer the questions the way you think we want them to be answered. We want to get to know you, so we can do our best to place you in the right position for you and for us.
Do this soon, as assignment preferences are considered based on your skills and then on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will do our best to accommodate your assignment requests.
